First of all, I have to compliment you on your system and your service.  I've used Auction! now 2 years as a volunteer and we have run into very few problems.  Plus, any problems we have had your technical service has been wonderful.  If you lived closer I would apply for a job!

We FINALLY, got our check-out process to run smoothly without lines thanks in large part to your advice.  When I talked to you last fall you shared with me about AuctionPay (which we used) and separating the invoice pick-up from the cashier table.  All of those items helped substantially to keep check-out moving along.  Thank you for your advice.  Our guests left very happy, and we now have the long check-out line monkey off of our back.

Thank you so much for all of your help and tips.  We had our event last night and it was great!  The Network version of Auction! worked just wonderfully.  It was nice to have 5 people inputting the winning bids at once.  We used the Auctionpay terminals from that company and people just loved doing express check out. 

Your tips about having an extra computer for problem solving, having extra bidder numbers on hand, and having dedicated printers for each computer were just so helpful.  All these things really made a big difference in our event this year.  Thank you so much for the time you spent helping me get ready.  I felt very prepared.

We are just about wrapped up with our auction from April 30.  I would like to thank you for all your help.  Every year, there is always something and of course it's never the same two years in a row.

I did find the new program quite good.

-The print preview saved the lives of many trees.

-Sorting by categories let us organize our auction catalog more easily.

-Catalog print to Word "let" me spend more time preparing the catalog, but I got the look I wanted in Publisher and saved pages by combining items and inserting ads.

- Plus our Printer for the catalog really enjoyed receiving the data on a CD rather than a paper copy.

-Exporting is so much easier that even I can remember how to do it easily.

-All the choices in Bid Sheet formats and the "guaranteed bid" box were great.

I just wanted you to know that Saturday night, we had our fundraiser and your program came through wonderfully!  I only had to look in the manual once when I had something I wanted to delete and the explanation was very clear, and worked!!

I really appreciated the chance to work ahead of time by using the included sample company to try different scenarios.  I feel that was the major help, plus how very clear everything is laid out in the manual.  Now I think that if our event gets any bigger, we may have to upgrade to multi-user, so I can get some help with all the inputting of names and auction items.

We had 250 people, and about 150 auction items ( 13 of them live and included 2 pledge items).  So the program was great, and it was good to know I had the pager number available if I needed it  (which I didn't!)

Well, the 2006 Academic Foundation Spring Social and Auction is in the history books. We grossed over $...  which is very good for our rural South Carolina Town.

I can't praise the network version enough, I wish I'd had it last year. As our event has grown, we find we are starting to close silent auction tables, and new guests are still checking in… This year with the network version,  it was effortless, one station continued to check in guests, while the rest processed bids!!

We even had our own little disaster, and the program came through superbly! One of my team mates (an IT professional by day) managed to kick the plug out of the computer that the others were linked to. We got everything restarted, and the database was intact, never missed a beat! (We won't be trying that again!).

A representative of another organization was at the auction, and they may be interested in the program for an auction they run each year. I'll be doing a demo for them when things quiet down here.

Software ran very well.  I was very pleased with how easy an complete it was, especially under pressure.  My volunteer data entry folks had little difficulty learning to use it.  I like the way it handles winning bids, and invoicing functions, especially when there is a change—it queues up a new invoice for that person for me so I don’t have to track the changes!  That is absolutely great!  Payments are easy to enter and process.  Overall, I am very pleased with your product.
